The illustrations made everything come alive. Written in graphic novel style, this spins tales of Artemis entertainingly. If you look it up in the “Geek Notes,” you can find out some information about each of them. ![]() One of my favorite parts is where Orion hunts all the different mythical beasts. There are also “Geek Notes,” which are funny, frank, and informative. I like seeing the pictures of all the things she wants. He asks her what he can give her, and she wants twelve hunting dogs, a chariot, the mountains, and on and on. In the beginning, Artemis is a child meeting Zeus for the first time. Although it’s my opinion, Artemis went overboard in that story. Smile at old stories you know, like Atlanta and the Golden Apples, or read and wonder (and possibly say “Yikes!” or “Sheesh, Artemis!”) over new tales like Niobe and Her Fourteen Children.
